I wish to find a Twilight fan and expose them to this.
Fuck that, I'm using this to explain a vampire strain in my next campaign.

done that before. When I was very early on in my D&D playing, I had an idea for different types of vampires that emulated different haemovores, and it included spider-vamps and mosquito-vamps. Sadly, like almost all of my D&D ideas, it never got brought before an actual player group.

Ok, so I'm at a loss for more items from old Saturday cartoons to stat up in the thread I started. Ideas to jog my memory?

What about that boomerang from Tailspin?

umm.... would if I remembered anything about it? What I've stated up is stuff I've seen in the last ten years. I'll look it up on wiki, though.

...wiki has failed me, I found no mention of the boomerang from Talespin.

I had to look up his name, but "Kit Cloudkicker" uses it to "cloud ski".

Huh. Looking at what Wiki says about the character and cloud skiing, I'm not sure what to do with it. Basically you get to move at the speed of whatever you hook up to.

Ok, maybe I'll do a quickie stat up tomorrow.

On a completely unrelated note, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was awesome.

Also, two things from watching old JCA episodes:
-Tohru looks awesome with his top knot undone
-Uncle's Shop has a hood system in the back for potion brewing. This little merging of magic and modern technology is kind of fucking awesome, just for how subtle it is.

Just saw it last night. I agree. Expendables on the other hand was worse than bad. It was actually boring.

Came home and found out a nerdy cousin had bought Sword of the Stranger.

Holy shit, that movie is awesome.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

--The horror of Mario

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

The music is also pretty damn awesome.

And it gave me a few game mechanics ideas.

So, Girl Genius has been rocking my socks lately. I think I figured something out. In the spoiler.

I bet Higgs is either Agatha's slightly older brother or he's Bill Heterodyne. My money's on Bill. He knows the castle's layout some, he gave Agatha water from the Dyne, he knew some Heterodyne or another who'd blown up, and he knew what the Muse Body is supposed to look like, and the Castle freaked out when it recognized it. Also, look at what it calls him in this first panel. http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20100409

Higgs is Agatha's -something-. The face looks similar to a couple of panels where they showed Bill. He also has some serious sideburns like Bill.

Subnormality is a webcomic that occassionally gets posted on Cracked, and I finally followed it home.

Stop reading about halfway through, when you hit a big fuckoff climax. You'll know what it is when you get to it.

Just signed up for Blockbuster's netflix-expy, and got my first DVD today: Batman/Superman Public Enemies. It was good. Luthor's villainous breakdown at the end was hilarious. His kissing Amanda Waller... disturbingly so.

On another note, Blockbuster.com has a category "Gay and Lesbian" movies. The only one that doesn't look like a complete crap low budget indy exploit on the main page of the category is Brokeback Mountain. Anyone know of any Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Whathaveyou movies that are actually good?

Most are pretty low budget, but that doesn't mean they aren't good. You'll just have to look up what's available. Sammi's favorite is The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love.

Greta Christina pimped out a movie recently, "The Kids are Alright" or something. Said it was very good.

Of course, highway engineers think there's probably a car on the prior line of text.

I always read it backwards, anyhow. It's funnier that way. Lane Carpool. Clear Keep. Ahead Stop.

I'd never paid attention to that until I went on a tour to Manhattan. Then, standing way up on a skyscraper, I looked down at the road and realized how weird it looked.
